If I didn’t know better, I’d say that Fluttershy is very good at befriending all animals, especially if it’s a scorpion.

The general rule of scorpions is the bigger the pincers the less poisonous the sting.

I wonder if they have those in a desert places.

Some fossil records have indicated that various prehistoric scorpion species were capable of flight with dragonfly-like wings.
 
Keep in mind, some were also the size of housecats.

Why do I get the idea Fluttershy’s trying to get a role in a future Dragon Quest game?

I just saw Clash Of The Titans (2010). Scorpions.

It’s a decent attack steed, Flutters, and certainly fearsome, but do remember to duck whenever the stinger gets deployed.

Not bad, but it’s no tomb scorpion.
