It’s different.Pipsqueak works fine because he’s technically a pinto horse/pony.
 
This OC though,the splotch seems to be there just for having something to stand out.Something that is just plastered there.

The pattern on his face is not too ‘out there’ considering we have Pipsqueak who makes splotchy coats canon. His mane is cool though.

It is a nice design…well except for that white splotch in his face that it’s completely unnecessary and clashy.
