If there is an Octavia/Rarity episode I predict that it will be have Octavia as an upperclass girl who is crude and uncouth, much to the dismay of her parents.
Rarity is invited to a party by Fancypants, meets said parents and is recruited by them to groom their daughter.
Yeah. I imagine Celestia is weak because of a thousand years without sleep, and never having to really fight for real.
Possible headcanon get: Celestia hides behind a glamour field, and in reality she is horribly emaciated and can barely stand. The curse of immortality indeed.
Unfortunately, you’re probably not. Unless the writers invert the whole “Mane 6 save the day” spiel by having them all knocked out of commission, leaving it up to Celestia and Luna to save the day. Because fuck the Worf Effect.

She does one thing: play. Yet she has all this fan art.

I can see the logic in that. And yeah, I really do want Applejack to be more than “the supporter” whenever a pony is feeling crummy. Hidden depths, maybe?
Of all the one-time characters though, everyone seems to want to see Trixie again, whether it be a redemption story or a villainous comeback (although she’s far from a villain, just an arrogant bitch). I think deep down, the reason why she’s so popular is because she got such a raw deal. The end of Boast Busters was almost kind of cruel. You’re a lying braggart? You’re going to lose your house.
Applejack does need to do something. Fluttershy’s pretty static, but at least she gets some great episodes. Applejack does nothing. nothing
I also think we should get to see Tartarus. Perhaps too dark for a children’s show, but today’s kids are pretty mature, and we all learn sooner or later that not everywhere in the world is sunshine and rainbows.
Impious makes valid points.
And the Fluttershy thing got me thinking about Applejack; should both get character development, more characterization, or one for one and one for the other?
