It really isn’t relevant what a picture is meant to portray, it’s what we see in it. Otherwise you could explain two females kissing as “oh this is just a kiss of friendship not love” or I dunno, two women hugging naked in the shower “oh this is just a promotional picture, just an image as an image”. But all we’re trying to do here is just give appropriate tags of what we see.

I wasn’t talking about anime fandoms, I’m talking about official artwork.  
And I have seen real girl in a pose like this for photos that are not romantically involved, just friend.  
I’m saying just because it’s like this doesn’t mean it is mean to be romantic, it could be just the image as an image.

No, I do not. And that is completely irrelevant. This isn’t the anime “fandom”, this is the pony fandom. I do not care what things are like elsewhere.

There is artwork of anime girls used to promote a show with teo girl like this and in the anime itself they could both have boyfriend and be enemies that hate eatchother.

And that’s why looking at this I don’t get that it is a shipping image, but if it is(by that I mean if bakki says it is, not just the name of it) I will let it slide with the tags, but when I see one that doesn’t really show anything to really indacate that and i see “Uploaded by Background Pony” it tend to actually not be shipping, and sometimes with named users but I see it more with BPs.
