Well instead of spoilering you can hide the tag but still soon or later someone WILL make a joke with that, when that happens just leave it to be since there s no way to stop people from liking what you dont like…

Filtering won’t stop it from appearing in the comment section. I’ve been using the filter and honestly.. it’s less helpful. Having to put up with the spoiler tag images really gets on my nerves.

Look… I don’t really care about un-blocked spoilers. I don’t care anymore about the way the show has progressed with the story. I don’t care for the memes. I don’t care much about the fan-made MLP games. And to tell the heart-breaking truth… I COULD CARE LESS IF MLP WAS CANCELLED.

True but animals biologically configured as piscivores or insectivores have no dietary alternatives. I believe that Fluttershy would feel that since ponies can choose to live off of non-animal foods, they probably should. Mercy is a virtue and if ponies, the dominant sapient species in Equestria, have the capacity for mercy and compassion, then by extension, it is almost an obligation to extend that mercy to animals by allowing them to live (per the Golden Rule) when their flesh is not essential to their survival – something which a lower Equestrian predator may be incapable of doing if hungry, I’m certain that Fluttershy’s first choice for bear chow is honey, berries and other non-animal sources of nutrition. Plus I would imagine that she’s had a talk in private with bears and any other omnivore in her menagerie that her cottage is a safe zone and that if they want her friendship/support, they cannot eat any prey animals in her care.
Assuming that the Apples raise livestock for slaughter canonically, this is a huge bone of contention between Fluttershy and Applejack.
Farm work has to be up there with the hardest occupations in a mostly pre-industrial society like Equestria. I believe that Applejack is as tough as she is because she grew up painfully aware that her labor is what makes or breaks her and even if its nets her a good harvest, she only makes money from what sells. Diversifying her farm’s portfolio with animals raised for slaughter makes sense. (Griffons have to eat, too) Having a hardened heart comes with the territory.
Conversely, Fluttershy is a gentle soul who cares for the well-being of all animals and whereas certain ponies have hurt her in the past, animals have not (unless you count the snub at the GGG). She would never do anything to them that wasn’t in their best interests and she would stand up to those who would do them harm.
Fluttershy and Applejack’s attitudes regarding animals could not be any farther apart.
Most of the people I’ve known who were raised on farms are very desensitized to slaughter. I guess when you’re exposed to it at an early age, you just get over it.
