What I mean is… imagine a scenario where Twilight finds herself in a strange and unfamiliar place. No one knows her, especially not her friends, who they themselves have befriended someone like Sunset Shimmer.
 
We find out later that someone or something has messed with the timestream and has removed (or trying to remove) Twilight from existance.
 
It sounds more like fanfic territory, but time travel episodes can be so fun if done right and awesomely.

hmm? that is because time travel is not possible in mlp. true tiwlight could go into the past, but all it did was only make a predestined scenario meant to screw with her. going into the future can only happen by either living or being put on ice and waking up some time later.

The only episode I want more than anything is a Celestia episode.

While we’re at it, I want to see an actual “Back to the Future”-esque episode happen. Sure, we had an episode where Twilight changed the destinies of her friends, but no time travel was used.
