Being able to levitate things, itself, is a wide advantage over the other pony races… and even humans. I wish to be able to handle certain object without touching it.

The reason why most people probably choose pegasus over unicorn is likely due to no one wanting to use magic, as magic is extremely bad, unless there is an exception to natural born magic users.

I agree with you. Earth Ponies are so under used. But mostly because they got the short end of the stick compare to the other pony races. They are not that much different from typical ponies that can’t use magic nor fly. If only they gave the EPs more worthwhile abilities than just super strength and “earth powers”. Though, I’m beginning to think Pinkie Pie isn’t the only EP to be able to pull some weird things off.
One thing that always baffles me in fandom, is that Pegasi OCs outnumber Unicorn OCs by a noticeable margin according to one of the EqD Polls. I guess people prefer wings over head wands. Despite the fact that unicorns have the upper hoof over the other pony races.

Aaaaaaw, you flatter me! Really, that is among the best praise I’ve received for my ponysona, and I do agree that Earth Ponies are highly underrated as OCs.

Wonderful! Now I know more about you and am very glad you’re pony form isn’t a overused pegasus, and thank God you aren’t going to be a unicorn or alicorn. Your OC is the best self insert one I ever seen and one that I actually like.
