Ok, I spoke with my buds at both the hub and hasbro, and it looks like it’s going to get a bit confusing. They don’t plan on cancelling any time soon, but it looks like there’s not going to be a set amount of episodes per season. So while the seasons might be short or long, the Friendship is Magic series looks like it’s FAR from over.

Oh, my feels for metalocalypse are confuse. For one, they do provide brutality, but it kinda feels like they’ve worked the Falconback thing way too much and the band now does kinda dumb, not-band-related horsing around.
@Classified: Well, that’s pretty awesome if that’s true! I think Hasbro knows they have a real treasure on their hands (hooves)? If the wait between seasons is shorter, I’m okay with 13 episodes a season! :D
It’s true, a lot of animated shows are switching to shorter seasons to make it easier on both writers and animators by putting a lighter load on their shoulders.
Thank god I know people in the show’s production. Here’s the REAL situation: They’re switching to thirteen episodes a season, and TWO seasons per year, with shorter gaps in between seasons. This lightens everyone’s load with work on the show, and the viewer’s impatience.
