I’m from Indiana, but we get plenty of beer from your state though most of it’s Bells and Founders. When I see New Holland at a shop, it’s usually bomber bottles of Dragon’s Milk (which I still haven’t tried, oddly).

The reason I’m haggard and unshaven is because I was in the middle of a road trip, visiting friends around the country after Bronycon. I had just driven some 1300 miles from San Antonio to Saint Paul with hardly any rest, was unable to find a hotel close to my friend’s place so I ended up sleeping in a church parking lot. Normally I would dress much nicer when going out for dinner but at this point in the trip I was running out of clean clothes and it was a casual lunch with my friend and his mare anyways. This “greasy spoon diner” was a well esteemed local Thai restaurant, one Jin and Twilight’s favorite places; not every dinner my mare and I go on needs to be some ultra fine dinning experience.

I was actually drinking Anchor Steam that day, but yes Bell’s is a great brewery; really enjoyed this year’s Hopslam, and now Oberon is out - good stuff, all of it. Also a huge fan of fellow Michigan craft brewery Founders, I could live off a diet of Breakfast Stout.
