People often forget how big of sell outs most of the old cartoons were. I mean people were quick to criticize the new looney toons show, saying they’ve sold out and how it will probably suck but if this is the point when they sold out what the fuck was Space Jam, baby looney tunes or lunatics unleashed.
 
Granted I understand this is TMNT not Looney Tunes but really the same concept applies. Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’ll suck. I know how much everyone is scared of change but it’s the only way for a show (or franchise) to evolve

Also no matter how bad at lest none of them where deemed to never be in canon in any way, that is something only Next Mutation got.

I actually found the mask joke not that bad. I don’t think I’ll be going to the cinema for this, but maybe I’ll rent it someday.
