Spike was really, really bored that day, with Twilight teaching Rainbow Dash about the history of the Wonderbolts. It’s probably why he decided to help Fluttershy with her project later on in the episode after he fled the house to avoid Twilight’s wrath.

What is up with Spike’s face in this scene? I can’t not laugh whenever this comes on…. Even though I’ve already watched this episode more times than I can count, I still crack up at it.

He was funnier in simple ways imo

Spike found pills and ate them.

This was easily the funniest Spike’s been in ages.

A joke with Spike in it that isn’t having him as the ‘butt’ of it? I approve! Easily the best scene in the episode.

I can’t look at Spike and not laugh.

Why the hell did Spike just come in while drumming? It’s still great though.

This scene was so distracting that I had to rewind and rewatch it to hear what Twilight was saying….XD

He wasn’t the ‘butt’ of this joke though, he was a part of it. That’s great. It’s when him getting smashed by a door or him fucking everything up is used for some poor unfunny joke that everyone groans and rolls their eyes.

This scene was terrific.

I love how adorable she was in this episode.
