What’s the point of Finitevus without the Original Legion?

Actually, Dr. Creepy Von Evil (as Ian Flynn calls him) might be safe, because he was made by artist Jonathon Grey & writer Karl Bollers for the “Return to Angel Island story arc from issue #138.
 
…Though, there are some rumors, Sega/Archie made them remove the other comic-exclusive characters (basically any character not from the games, or SatA.M. TV series like Knuckles, Amy, Prof. Pickle, Sally, Uncle Chuck, Nicole, Naugus, ect. who are all safe) sense Penders’ made Sega paranoid about drumming up more legal drama with other past writers, and such…  
I’m not sure if that is the case, but we still haven’t seen any of the other old non-Penders comic-exclusive characterss yet (like Mina, Mammoth Mogul, and such) so that might be a possibility…

Worst of all, get this… Ken also tried to claim ownership of Scourge the Hedgehog, (even though artist Patrick “Spaz” Spaziante made him) because Ken supposedly made “Evil Sonic” whom Scourge used to be in older issues…  
(How can he own a character who is literally an alternate-universe version of Sonic? That’s like how Chris Chan tried to copyright Sonichu, and threaten to sue people.)  
…Not to mention, not like Ken came up with the “evil doppleganger/Bizzaro World” concept that’s been in comics sense forever.

Oh, and Dr. Finitevus is a former character from the Archie Sonic comics, and a recurring villain. Who was indirectly killed off by some one-off space-flea-type character (actually a Tasmanian Devil [with an uncanny resemblance to a gigantic purple echidna]).

Every echidna on the planet was written out of the storyline because a guy who quit chucked a tizzy over the fact that he wasn’t getting paid for the use of characters he only designed.
 
Also, the guy wants to start his own profitable series using those characters (which he can’t, what with copyright laws and all), and doesn’t seem to realize what a colossal sphincter lord he is.
