I’m amazed alot of people didn’t “get” she’s having a nightmare. I could tell just by looking at this.
 
I nice piece, and it seems to emphasize Twilight’s biggest fear. Having everyone who cares about her the most, suddenly hate her.  
It’s the worst possible thing that could ever happen to her.
 
Even in the actual show she got quite upset, and saddened when she made her brother angry, and she seems to worry about what her friends, and mentor think sometimes.  
So this image works perfectly as PlotHole said.

Awww….Poor girl.

Calm down, people. It’s a dream - one that has a pretty good basis in canon. We know that she freaks out at the thought of disappointing Celestia, and in Boast Busters she doesn’t want to show up Trixie for fear of alienating her friends. One interpretation of her breakdown in Lesson Zero is that she suffers from Impostor Syndrome . Even if that’s overanalysis (but what in the fandom isn’t?), it’s not a great leap to see her insecurities translated into this kind of dream.

I can’t help wondering as to Celestia and the other’s perspective on this.
 
What did Twilight DO to deserve this sort of harsh banishment? WHAT DID SHE DO?!!?

I would cry and showcase my anger towards the Mane Six by releasing Discord and calling back Chrysalis. Oh and maybe bring in Tirek just for good measure. There’s banishment and there’s banishment and KICKING THE FUCKING DOG!

I would laugh my ass off if this happened in canon and we got a new main character.

There should be a sequel to this where she ends up in the human world with Kaiju and is accepted into a new group of friends, the denizens of Monster Island, including Godzilla.
