I mean, it could have worked if he didn’t constantly harp on it. Other subjects got skewered by wit plenty, and there were the occasional stories about Nick & Monique or whatever his name was, but if it’s just focusing on the one thing all the time, and playing it completely straight without humour….

Man, fake internet feminism ruins everything it touches. Case in point is the Sinfest comic. It used to be this genuinely funny comic series that just took religion and morality and just poked fun at it in a real affectionate kind of way. Then the author went full-feminist and it turned into this weird thing about the patriarchy and feminist ninjas riding around on tricycles. Like, I get that it’s ‘‘trying’’ to be silly, but that doesn’t make it funny. I stopped following it like forever ago.

I was following a webcomic that wasn’t quite about feminism or anything, but I guess it’s followed by a lot of feminists. I made a comment that was pretty innocent to me, but it was taken in a very, very bad way… Overreactions ensued.  
I was never be in the mood to read that comic anymore :I

I remember reading once that these Tumblr Feminists are only like that because no guys want them and it’s their way of compensating.
