It’s mostly a color scheme issue I suppose. If every twilight spawn has twilight’s bangs I might start to complain to be honest.
 
And I’ve seen plenty of offspring ocs that don’t look too close to their parents at all. Though to be honest, it looks like a base was used to create this character. The reason why I don’t think Starburst looks like a clone of twilight is because she is drawn from scratch.

I’ve seen other offspring with similar bangs like Twilight’s, yet they never get criticized. Look at Kilala97’s Starburst. She has a similar color scheme and hair-style, yet she’s off the hook. ||(Not that I don’t like Starburst) ||
 
How exactly do you expect an offspring of two main(ish) characters to not at all look like the parents?
 
And yes, I guess the artist means the main six.

It’d look nicer if the colors in her mane and tail blended smoother I think.
 
Also saying “Oh it’s offspring!” isn’t a good excuse for an oc looking unoriginal.
 
To be honest she looks like a really sleep deprived and pissed off Twilight with longer hair.

I think the gold of her shoes and crown contrasts her colours a bit too much.
