About to go to sleep, see this. What do?
Chrysalis: “Stop playing the damn game and open the door!”
Wait, what was that? It looked like… two green lights moving across your window. You thought maybe it was your eyes after playing a horror game in a dark room, but maybe you’re just a little uncomfortable. The lights certainly didn’t look like neon car lights. Okay, a little strange but nothing to really worry about.
Deciding to head to bed, you close the game & begin the process off-
The faint sound of… buzzing, like insects wings catches your attention. But it sounded unusual, like a really big insect. What could be making its sound. And why does the sound seem so familiar to you? You’ve heard it before, so what is it? You make a mental note to stop by the nearest store & pick up some bug spray. Hopefully it doesn’t cost too much, you muse as you enter your bathroom.
Brushing your teeth, you think about the potential free-roam mod of Slender Pony & hope that the new DLC will make the game even scarier. Canterlot Campaign of Carnage definitely has your sights-
You hear a light thumping noise now. You wouldn’t have noticed it if it wasn’t for the dead silence in your house. And the thump sounds like it’s against the main door. Is this place haunted or what? You did do a little work of your own, so was there some Satanic or Indian ritual site you discovered? For your sake (and money’s sake), you hope not.
Finishing your brushing teeth, it’s now time to go to sleep. You check all the locks in your home just to be sure, kitchen knife at hand. Good. It’s all tighter than a back injury. Once again, the thump resounds, this time sounding like it’s closer. A light thump, but it’s a good thing you had the knife. Maybe it might be a good idea to keep it with you.
Okay, now hopefully you can get some sleep as you travel to your bedroom, closing & locking the door. Thinking one more about how you narrowly avoided Slendy Pony in the mining camp as it burned down, you settle down with glee, ready to imagine yourself cuddling Fluttershy for-
You stop, dead in your tracks. You see it, in the window to your bedroom door.
Green lights that now look more like eyes or night vision goggles. But that isn’t what startles you. It’s what’s surrounding the green lights.
An… equine-ish creature with an unusual… horn, looking as if it got bent with what seems to be something else attached to it with what resembles long flowing hair.
And it seems to be looking at you.
