A good question comes then how much time there is between this clip/end of EQG, and EQG2 actual present, based on the other teaser. The earlier teaser feels like it takes place after a few months, if only for Sunset to become accustomed to being friends with the Mane 5, meaning it takes that take for the Dazzlers to get over to that school.

Oh, so this is how they are doing this. Much better than the having them randomly show up to the school one day and inexplicably be from Equestria.
 
I wonder if this movie will take place after season 4, or perhaps concurrently? It can’t be to long after the first, especially if these villains decide to join the school right away to get to the magic.

What I’m wondering about is why the school was suddenly in the middle on nowhere? In the first movies, a bunch of buildings were around it.
