“Reflections” seems to be one of the most hated/controversial story-arcs in the comics. Alot of fans have been bashing Katie & Andy over it lately. (Which is a shame, ‘cause overall I like most of their work on the comics. I even liked their Shining/Cadance story, which some also hated.)
 
Though, I don’t think they should blame Andy Price for the story, as he’s just the artist, and artists usually don’t have much influence on the story. (Though, Andy might be responsible for some brief “background gags/easter eggs” drawn in, which I always enjoy.)
 
I haven’t really read it, so I can’t judge it personally, (though, I sometimes like “mirror universe” stories, even if they are rather cliche’ in comics/cartoons) but there’s some who like it.  
There’s even some who even like the controversial “pairing” it introduced.

I actually want to see that issue to.

I really love the exploration of discord as being this giant overpowered kid hanging out with the cmc like they’re his peers and hopefully picking up life lessons alongside them.
 
Also the pacing and expressions in this comic is wonderful.

I cant wait for their interaction continuity in Main comic series. Whitley wrote Friends Forever with CMC and Discord and also the new one with Discord, Fluttershy and CMC. They should probably remember the events of their previous encounter

Probably because people dont want Reflections to be canon and they will dismiss every other character development for that purpose.

Do you mean “good thing,” because it keeps both the show/comic from getting to confusing trying to keep up with each other, or do you mean “good thing,” because the comic in your opinion “suxorz?”
 
I haven’t been keeping up with the comics lately, (nothing against them, I just can’t afford/find them) but even I can admit that moment between Sweetie & Disco below was adorable.

Yeah, if you notice Discord by now his irresponsobility is the part of his character. He is basically like kid himself who gained god like powers and immortality. It think he treat them more like his peers than silly kids. CMC may be the only one who understand him by now. It was also explored in IDW comics

And what a weird talent… must be good, though.

Him encouraging them to hide their recklessness is pretty irresponsible, but Discord is being surprisingly supportive and nice here.
