I think people just took “Filli Vanilli” a li’l to seriously. Honestly, I wasn’t bothered by that ep’. Said ep’ also gave us Zipperwhill one of the most adorable new bit-characters.

Y’know, I think it’s unfair to say the CMC are getting no character-development.  
Any of you notice this season they don’t get as easily phased by Tiara’s calling them “blank-flanks?” (“Flight to the Finish”)  
They seemed a li’l less cutie-mark obsessed this season to.  
Not to mention, they seem gradually growing up, like Applebloom being “big enough to be left home-alone,” Sweetie Belle finally learning magic/levitation like an actual unicorn, and Scootaloo’s flight issues were finally addressed. (She also managed to get off the ground quite high at one point in “For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils.” So maybe she’s not a “cripple” after all.) Some issues between Sweetie & Rarity were also addressed, which kinda puts Sweetie’s previous “hero-worship” of her sister in a while new light, and suggesting maybe she always was a li’l jealous of her big sis’ in some ways.
 
Also, Sweetie Belle likes showtunes. ;)

Watching Spike is just a pain. He is not treated like Twilights brother, he is hardly treated like a kid. Shining armor and Twilights parents have nothing to do with him. He didnt went to school with other kids. He is just a pet to Twilight and cheap labor, she sometimes act like shes his sister but never say it loud. He is mostly treated like very short adult loser. Scorpan should appear as the one who find his egg and just take him back home in S5

CMC I agree with they really disappointing episodes of season 4 Twilight Time and the worst episode of season 4 Somepony is to watch over me

The moral of FPK was that you’re not always right. Which is why it caused, and still causes, so much frustration for a certain group of fans.

The problem with Feeling Pinkie Keen wasn’t just that it promoted religion. (I’m on the fence on that to be honest. But it does tend to be liked more by the religious than the non.)
 
The problem wasn’t even that it was anti-sceptic. The problem was it made the sceptic/scientist out to be a complete moron. Here let me hook you up to this machine and not run ANY tests at all. (Drop a book maybe??) And the end was, “You can’t explain it right now. So you never will be able to so just give up” That is a horrible lesson.

This chart makes at least one thing abundantly clear. We really need a Celestia episode or two. I’m not saying make her into one of the major characters or anything, but it would be nice to have, ya know, something.
