What was funny, though, was when I went to see Prometheus and it was in 3D, and the 16-something year old girl at the ticket booth goes “You get the glasses for half price.”
So, I’m just kind of like “Huh?”
She goes “Well, you’re only using half of them.”
I think a better man would have been offended or insulted, but I just laughed like a bastard. Also, that was the most entertaining part of that entire movie.

You’re not missing much.
Hell, I watched Guardians Of The galaxy in 3D, and that wasn’t anything special. Hell, the only time they made use of the 3D effects was during the previews for other movies like BayTMNT, which kinda overdid it on the debris thing. I don’t want to be shutting my eyes instinctively every couple of seconds.

Just knowing that I’ll never get to see what they actually look like irks me in ways you’ll never understand. Especially since I still have to wear the glasses just so I don’t see the blurry effect.
“Since then, she’s been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other, and she thought she could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. She felt like she was watching a dream she could never wake up from.
