I should have mention this before. When I was little during my first vacation to China in the starting with Hong Kong as landing spot, to Guangdong and later to Dongbei region then back as return trip. I think it was late-Spring and Summer because I remember I was in the middle of first grade school and I had homework with me on the trip.
 
In Guangzhou, I believe I saw my great-grandmother (mother’s side) was preparing mooncakes, she was carrying what look like a wooden paddle and the next or few, fresh-baked mooncakes.

Porn is the spice of life IMO. But, if certain people don’t like porn, that’s okay as long as they don’t try to take it away from those who do like it.
 
If the site is any popular with Chinese, you’d think the CCP would try to nose in right? To see what people are jerking off to?  
Yeah, traditionally we’re a patriarchal society. Being Taiwanese Canadians mostly Christian family, our family is generally quite egalitarian and westernized when it comes to gender. Yes, some traditional mindsets in other areas still stand out. But due to the literal lack of daughtes in my generation, we actually want daughters more now.

I don’t know 100% why Hong Kong and Macau are exceptions, maybe because they are former European colonies with now independent self-sufficient government and economy?  
Speaking of which, it can be frustrating when I had cross checkpoints with passport ready between Hong Kong/Macau and Mainland China; they’re technically in the same country for crying out loud!
 
I’ll admit, there is one positive thing about these Chinese government censorship in the internet that even fair-minded and family-raising people can agree on: They censored internet porn. ^^; Not all, just the big and obvious ones; bet they have a whole long list of porn sites let alone other sites.  
I used Yahoo there but Yahoo sucks with net-surfing. Feels like old times when I was China without internet, we watch DVDs or VCDs (early video CDs of shows and movies back in the 90s or early-2000s) brought from streets for entertainment and I read books.
 
I’ll be honest, I’m glad some parts of China hasn’t changed much. It feels painful to see familiar things disappear into memory. I’m still not used to the idea of tech companies sell slightly-updated smartphones each year. One of these days, the only thing from the 20th century still be around is us; people born in 20th century.
 
Foreign ideas are inevitable no doubt, even in First-World Western countries.
 
 
In other news for a bit, do you think its possible that Chinese males are less likely to become Bronies? Like I said, I think this site is uncensored but we don’t know how many Chinese use this.  
And generally speaking, traditional Chinese culture (not nationally speaking) is more a patriarchal society where the males are the center of the household and are expected to be… You know, manly.

Now I see why the CCP are losing control of information. While they may focus mostly on censoring big social media sites and presses. It’s these backwaters where Chinese people may come in contact with western people and in turn, western ideas.

I don’t know, I barely paid attention to other people.  
If my memory serve correctly, this website should be free of Chinese government censorship; I tried it myself there not long ago.  
But Hong Kong and Macau is free of Internet censorship which I tried myself as well.
