Using references is one thing but this is copying as it’s over 90% the same.

Concepts are a plan for conception. They don’t HAVE to be original man. It’s also not the “very same” as my reference, I made changes.

It’s for something new, basically a rough design to start from, so to use the very same as a finished product is not a concept.

Concepts can be an amalgamation of anything, preexisting or otherwise. This piece wouldn’t have existed if I hadn’t made it. Plus, it’s a concept because it was a piece I made prior to doing the full marker drawing on my portfolio.
