Constructive argument.
I’m in no way denying the fact that I used other’s work but I made it mine but putting my own though behind it.
Because with the way I placed the pieces, they no longer mean the same or convey the same message as the originals.
Then it’d be a collage and or photo manip… would it not? Instead, I took the time to hand draw.
You missed the point…
The Deadpoll in this is just the same as the one in the image I put up, the Dash is also the same.
Simple having them together doesn’t change that they have the same look as someone else work.
If that was all it took I can do a simple copy and past and make the same image as you did.
Where else do you see this image of Deadpool freaking out because he can’t stop thinking of My Little Pony?
Like I said, it’s over 90% the same, “modified”, ya right.
Thanks for quoting concept man. My use of concept is literal and by no way questionable. Also yeah, I know I copied the original pieces, but I put them into my own modified composition, which makes it my work.

I’m fine with letting the tag thing go, I just why he would understand his “concept” is just a copy of other people’s work…
I was informing you that there is a set guideline on how to get an image removed.
Lets just let it go this time, it wasnt as malicious as in many other instances.
I never traced though. The definition of trace isn’t copying by way of freehand drawing. Trace is to follow the original line work exactly by drawing over top.

To incorrectly clam you make a trace(and there are people that can trace without laying paper of an image, some can reproduce it just by looking at it, i.e. make a copy by freehand drawing) to be a concept and remove the tag is actually braking a rule of the site, we don’t allow purpose mis-tagging.

Alright, the trace tag wont be applied in this case. The ones i have discussed the issue with aren’t so sure about the whole thing.
You want something removed then go look at the Takedown Requests page, it tells you what to do.
Why so he can ban me from his website? Oh, well. If you’re going to incorrectly label MY WORK, then remove it from YOUR SITE.
And if you have a problem with this not being labeled as a trace then I’d appreciate it if it was removed from the website.
Word of advice, no matter what you think, when a mod puts a tag on NEVER remove it.
What exactly are you arguing? I get you’re a site admin but it’s a concept because It’s something I made before I made the full piece. Tracing is the act of laying the original piece under a piece of paper or using layers in photoshop and drawing over that piece to redraw the lines exactly. Which I never did. This was hand drawn using the pieces that were linked as reference. If you want to get into copyright territory I’m not illegally using any of these images as I’m not using them for promotion or financial gain. If you want to see the full piece I can oblige, because this piece was made prior to the creation of the full piece.
Except this “concept drawing” looks exactly like the artwork you so not “traced”.
