Pretty much. Filthy Rich seems to be aware of his daughter’s ‘antics’ if you can call then..but I guess he doesn’t know how to handle them.
True, but again, I guess that’s suppose to show her getting too much into what she feared. Unfortunately the execution there was badly done, which made it come out as if she likes bullying people.

Eh, Filthy Rich doesn’t seem like a bad guy, but perhaps he doesn’t know how to raise her, very well. I noticed he kinda frowned when Tiara was laughing at Granny Smith in “Family Appreciation Day.” So perhaps he’s a li’l aware that she’s a li’l bratty. (And why he made her wear the bunny suit, and such.)
I like Babs to, but even if she was doing it out of being bullied, I don’t think that justifies her actions either. (And at least Tiara didn’t get “physical” like she did.) She even seemed to enjoy it, until she learned the error of her ways.
I like the episode, but yeah, it could’ve been executed better.
That’s actually one of my theories. Maybe her mother was the only thing that showed DT morals and being a genuine pony, but with her gone, she mostly ended up getting some of the traits of Filthy Rich, granted FR in the show isn’t as smug or snobby as Diamond (considering his reaction in the end..), but even so.
I still like Babs even though she did act rather…odd when it came to her bullying. I still believe it was her way of reacting to bullying the CMC and such was probably her following the ‘leader’ style of how she was bullied.
The only problem was how it was executed, which is a shame since the writer of this episode wrote several good episodes involving the concept of bullying.

Alot of beloved characters have even less personality/backstory then Tiara does. (Derpy & DJ come to mind.) I like to think despite being a li’l brat perhaps Tiara has some hidden-depths to her, but seeing how in the show the role of her & Spoon is to be antagonists for the CMC, we probably won’t see much to her.
Still, that’s not a bad thing, as it allows fans to come up with their own headcanons for why they behave the way they do. Sense we’ve never seen Tiara’s mother, some fans actually assume she’s gone, (dead, abandoned or divorced) which could contribute to Tiara’s behavior, and such.

It’s because we have a backstory for her (Bullied for not having her cutie mark) so we know why she’s acting that way and it’s better to sympathize with her. What do we know about DT and SS?
As much as I hate her,some of the insults lobbed at her piss me off more.She’s a fucking kid!Yeah she’s a bitch,but she’s not as bad as someone like Cartman or that kid from Omen.

You do have a point.Why is the one who is mostly just a dick(that’s became less effective as shown in Twilight Time)get most of the shit from the fans yet the girl who actually was being a much worse bully gets redeemed and the fandom adores her?Fucking double standards!
The violent emotional reaction that Diamond Tiara inspires is exactly why she is best villain. She is just a cute little girl with no super powers and no ambitions to conquer the world or enslave the heroes. She just psychologically torments Apple bloom and her friends for the simple joy of doing it, and that is a real and relatable evil that strikes a dissonant chord with people.

In a way, Babs Seed was a way worse bully then Tiara & Spoon combined. (Yet, she was easily forgiven by the CMC.) Babs actually threatened the CMC, threw tomatoes at them, stole from them, and such. I like Babs, don’t get me wrong, but at least Tiara never got “physical” like that.
Yet, somehow Tiara is the “evil irredeemable one?”
This is a bit much. She may be a spoiled, bratty child, but she hasn’t done any real harm to anypony to be told these things. I believe she can change. Waiting for DT’s redemption episode.

A time skip episode could work. I’ve thought up ideas to myself on occasion, but realize having dreams kept to yourself is not how those sorts of episodes are made.
Matter of fact, if a window of the future episode were made for reals, I’d imagine there’d be incentive to make an All Grown Up type spin-off. :3

That’s actually the most positive thing they ever said about them.
Though, yeah I agree with you, I wouldn’t mind them becoming nicer when they get older, (though they don’t really age in the show, so not happening anytime soon, unless they do some kinda “time-skip” episode) or perhaps near the end of the series they could gradually pick on the CMC less, or even become reformed.
Though, admittedly I wouldn’t want every villain to pull a heel-face-turn, or be reformed.
I imagine some like Tirek can never be “redeemed,” nor would ever want to become good.
