Just because something’s a success doesn’t mean it’s good. Take the book series and movie “Twilight”. I wouldn’t call that quality.  
His animations are good, but his character is terrible and one-dimensional, and only used for the purpose of shipping Sweetie Belle with him.

How about yes? Button Mash was a harmless background pony until Jan ruined him.  
Ponies like Vinyl and Octavia were molded by a group of people, while Jan made this terribly annoying, high-pitched OC.  
I don’t get why you’re so upset. There has to be a better pony to ship Sweetie with.
