You should have seen the recent comment section it was filled with nothing but that I could barley find comments to reply to.
Well…that’s kinda lame. I thought it was something actually offensive.

From what I’ve gathered @thestick is upset the artist wouldn’t do a commission for her or she said she was going to cancel a project and didn’t cancel it.

Oddly enough I agree that anthropomorphic is a weird term for furry stuff, because for me, I don’t find ‘humanized animal’ as appealing as ‘human with animal traits’. Sapience and whatnot is the central concept, not an additive thing.

Alright then, that does make sense. I was just pulling something out of my ass. I was just saying that because Anthro and Furry are basically used for the same group of beings.
Well, a little of Greek helps here.
“Anthropomorph” derives from anthro = human and morph = shape => “in the shape of a human”.
Don’t be deceived by the fact that “anthropomophs” are called “anthros” for short.
Similarly, “anthropology” derives from anthro and logos = study. That’s what Lyra likes :) The study of humans, not furries.
So, technically, “anthrophiliac” is the correct word, as it’s made by anthro and philia = love. Or maybe “anthropophiliac” is even more correct, I’m no real expert.
