The really frustrating thing is, the ease with which everyone turns against Sunset and each other diminishes the villains of the first two EqG movies. Part of what established Sunset Shimmer and the Dazzlings as credible threats was their ability and willingness to sow disharmony at CHS. And now that same level of discord is being achieved by a run-of-the-mill jerk or jerks with a Facebook page? It’s a good thing the Sirens never discovered Twitter!
 
(And it’s not as if Anderson isn’t aware of the problem. Hell, the story explicitly compares the havoc caused by Anon-a-miss to that caused by Evil Sunset and the friggin’ Windigos.)

I hate it when she cries like that. Poor Sunset. :(

She might solve this situation, but that’s another hit to her mental stability.

Yeah they really messed up portraying a healthy friendship here, the humane 5 turn on Sunset on the drop of a hat, and it’s even worse when later they forgive the CMC just as fast.

Yeah I could of bought this story much easier if it was set before Rainbow Rocks, and it could of been very easily but nope, they had those Twilight bits to establish it as afterward, even though they basically contributed nothing else.

And this is supposed to be after Rainbow Rocks? Or, to put it in more concrete terms, after Sunset saved they ass from a bunch of goddamn sea monsters?

Although I wasn’t being totally serious, the fanfic and this story seemed to take the friendship out of “friendship is magic.”
 
It’s usually not an advisable idea to betray your title for a moral at the end (which this story has over the aforementioned fanfic).

Okay seriously I doubt any fanfic had anything to do with anything.

It’s always lovely when a fanfic (that I wanted to verbally decimate long ago) seems to influence the writers into making the humane 5…inhumane like in that fanfic (although it was the mane 6 spliting up over stupid reasons).

Yeah, they are pretty awful people. Sunset needs to go get some REAL friends.

I would have thought this alone would have been enough to make it obvious that Sunset didn’t do it. There’s the argument of who else could have done it, but shouldn’t they have tried to figure that out before ostracizing her? Anyone with half a brain could see that she’s either innocent or an incredible actress. She clearly isn’t the latter since she made no effort to make people like her when she was trying to rule everything.
 
Not only that, but if they were really her friends they should have been able to tell instantly that she was being honest and genuinely had no idea who did it.

Actually, a fatwa is a non-binding legal opinion from a islamic scholar about any issue regarding islamic law. and some fatwas can contradict others. so you can have fatwas against terrorism or smoking, and fatwas that really are death orders.

Man, Sunset needs to get some better friends. the humane 5 still don’t trust her much it seems and turn on her at the drop of a hat.
