Scientists have figured out how to regrow fingers and are currently working on making it work for enire limbs.

I think that human RD has the advantage here cause if she hit’s a finger science can just regrow that but if pony RD (somehow) messes up she could crack the pastern (depending on how hard she hits it, which knowing dash she probably is going a little overboard with her strength in this duel) and cripple herself for life.
