It is a great ship, and I did just get done reading your fic. While I agree it was a bit straightforward on the redemption it was all around a good read. Several of your ideas linked up with ideas and headcanons I have aswell. I definitely want to work on a story for this picture(at least loosely connected to your story) probably just start with a one-shot leading up to this moment and perhaps gauge feedback before/if I continue.

At least I died seeing something freaking sexy :)

Though in my own ‘headcanon’ here, this is set maybe a year after the movie. So, several months following my (perhaps a bit straightforward) take on Adagio’s redemption arc. It didn’t start out as anything romantic, but that “inner alpha” side both of them still possess created a certain magnetism, I suppose.

Somewhat of a fan, I played part of the first game on my itouch but find him pretty good in UMvC3. Got a 2DS a couple months back so been thinking of picking up the series alongside the DS Castlevania games, but have been pre occupied with Pokemon X and Smash. Shared a GB color with my older brother when we were younger, but he got first dibs on most games which sucked when it came to Pokemon Red and Gold as he didn’t want me to over write his saves.
 
Also Coffee is great, but life is all hot drinks coffee, tea, and cocoa. Also I guess I set the ground work for a story I just need to work on my dialouge skills.

I need to find ’em on ROMs for an emulator. When I was the DS age demographic, the first generation Gameboy was the “in” thing.

Well then I guess I have to change the scenario slightly. Adagio invited Sunset over for this night of passion. Of course even though Adagio told Sunset there would only be light BDSM play, Sunset both expected and wanted a bit more hardcore play knowing that Adagio still might want a little revenge and that she herself wanted to be “punished” for her past actions. Though not wanting Adagio to have all the fun she made her own plans to take control later in the night especially as a little revenge on her part for what Adagio had put her through during the Battle of the Bands. Arriving at Adagio’s, Sunset sees she is right noticing the bag left on Adagio’s bed, Adagio must have forgotten about it while setting the tone of the night with the candles, wine, and inscents. This comes Sunset knowing she was in the right to bring her own “toys” hidden in her bag with her spare change of clothes.
 
On another note good job sir on this piece, I especially commend you for the designs of their outfits.

Well, in my mind, it’s Adagio’s room. But “who gets the cuffs” is one thing I’m purposefully leaving open to viewer interpretation. ;)

Ok, looking over the photo I’ve come up with a possible scenario  
 
We can see that Adagio is planning to cuff Sunset, and Sunset has her hand clasped upon Adagio’s bra to either take it off or pull her in for a pationate kiss. I choose the latter because this gives Sunset ample time to distract Adagio to slap the cuff on her instead. Assuming this is Sunset’s room she probably has her own toys and accessories, possibly hidden in the box on the top shelf of the closet right there. So after Sunset has made her move that is when the fun begins.
 
And that is my main theory of what you and the photo presented  
 
Or I could be blowing smoke and they planned to trade of dom and sub roles, in a romantic and passionate night of romance. I draw this scenario from the sceneted candles, inscents, wine and Sunset’s expression.
