Shining Armour was humiliated when he was a Cadet before eventually reaching the higher ranks in the Royal Guard hierarchy. One of those humiliating punishments his superiors before him did to him was this.

nah, the disability to dance runs in the family^^ Just look at Twilight;) Although her not-dancing is kind of adorkable;)

The sad part is that this is how Shiny dances normally.
 
White ponies can’t dance, apparently.

Forgive my off-topicness, but when I see Shining there the first thing i’m reminded of is the 2 frame animation after something ends your exsistance on the original doom. lol
