Listen, you know I’m sympathetic for you man. There is a lot of debate between Faust’s Celestia, Meghan’s Celestia, and IDW’s Celestia and a lot of people have very conflicting beliefs.
 
But the problem is, you are seeing the perspectives you hate EVERYWHERE. You are truly and medically paranoid, and its making you angry and miserable. Beyond seeking at least a little psychiatric help, which I still suggest, my advice is…
 

eh.. but you know what? I’m fucking tired of explaining all this shit over and over again, I’ve talked about this before many times already and it’s just like half of those other exhausting talks, not to mention, even if I do get some points across, I’m only probably just venting out my left over frustrations with why I stopped watching the show to begin with and I’m sure as hell I didn’t meet that many people sharing in my grievances with the show, so who cares what I gotta say?.
 
All those examples aren’t perfect either, the only reason I used them at all is because they’re without a doubt still better than what I’m seeing in this page here.. but whatever, I guess these comics aren’t for me, you guys can go on from here, I don’t think I have anything else to add over that onslaught of fucking text.

No. That is not even remotely close to being the reason. The reason is in fact, the characters themselves and the situations they’re being placed in.
 
When you have a character set up as something, you either provide some kind of scenario or script that has them unable to act in a certain situation if your story isn’t about them, you don’t just leave them hanging with big red question marks floating above their heads in most of the readers’ minds, questions such as, why did this happen, How did this happen, why can’t they do anything, Why don’t they seem the least bit worried about innocents being affected by the same vines they’re being hold against their will and crack up jokes instead, if that was the very reason why they began feeling this oddly complying and strangely familiar emotion of Giving a crap in the first place?
 
 
For Example, if Twilight Sparkle ever happened to be put into a similar situation where she couldn’t get out of a restraint and all of a sudden started cracking jokes without worrying of getting to help Canterlot, or Equestria, from whatever impending doom is already raining on it, nor seeing her attempt to get herself free, what kind of feeling would that leave in the readers when they know where her priorities come in first and foremost, or how would they feel if they didn’t even see why she couldn’t prevent capture from, Whatever was supposed to incapacitate her that was never properly explained in the first place as to how it Could even incapacitate such a prominent magic user as her?  
The Lord of The Rings hasn’t done it to Gandalf and yet he’s no God, even if he is a Maiar, which could conclude for at least something way above the possibilities of any other mortal in the land, it hasn’t done it to any of the characters it has, especially not in circumstances which wouldn’t warrant it at all, not even for Gimgli and that story still has just as much joking in it as this kind of a story does both adventure and jokes.
 
 
but let’s get to the heart of the reason why this is so frustrating to most of us. With all those things up there considered, this only shows us how the writer feels about these two characters, when we don’t even see it happen or have it properly shown to us why they’re in this kind of situation. If they at least took some time to reflect on Who these two characters are, they would have given us some kind of insight as to why they’ve been entangled like this, or have King Aspen explain some stupid bullshit reason why they’re suddenly useless, I Wouldn’t like that one either because it’s yet again another instance of making them completely useless by having them captured or in a position of that damn Damsel in distress syndrome the show also happens to have, but it would at least provide us a Less insulting imagery than the one we’re seeing here, where their capture is so inconsequential to anything, that the writer can replace it all together with a quick gag over them getting captured again, HURR… fuckidty.. hurr..

two things, It’s not just about Celestia, some examples focused on her because unlike Luna she has some screentime to boot some occasions showing off / alluding to her powers, second, what I said was:

whatever her capabilities are still offer more than enough reason to at least understand that she shouldn’t be held so easily against her will, when even someone like Queen Chrysalis basically made a proclamation of her victor by stating how her power was greater than even that of Princess Celestia herself. It’s not about expecting a whole lot of world shattering scenes that over indulge in this notion, we had season 4 finale doing that kind of shit and it wasn’t any good there either if you ask me, but if anything, I think most fans like that kind of indulgence, because the majority of people loved the hell out of that scene…
 
No mate, it’s about expecting at the very least something will do over the big nothing we got from this scene in terms of making us understand why they’re both suddenly useless, in the most repetitive manner that we’ve seen both in the show and probably in the comics too, where they just can’t even lift a finger to help Themselves, let alone everyone else, or a hoof as is the case.
 
Whatever defense you may have I’m holding my point, this is the biggest shit we’ve ever gotten from both the show and comics in terms of why Celestia and Luna are rendered Useless, AGAIN… because a trend of this story that’s already gotten too old, just has to be beaten like a dead horse again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again, no pun intended.

I would LOVE to be polite and happy. I’m stressed I’ve gained weight I’m depressed and this is a major thing, but I can’t leave because it was one of the few things that made me actually happy. But Ive lost it and I just want to enjoy it again without fearing “ok how are they gonna worf her this time” or “when do the haters show up with comments about vines or weddings.
