I thought S02E11 - Hearths Warming Eve was likely as not the best Episode of all in S02… Sans S02 E01/02 Return to Harmony that is. Oh yeah least we forget Lesson Zero was also breety gud too!

I thought that Return to Harmony Pts 1 & 2 were originally slated for the end of Season 1. Had the Show been somehow canceled, and instead were kept back to start Season 2 off with?

Yet we had episodes like Lesson Zero and Sisterhooves Social which is considered great episodes by the majority of the fandom. Also Hurricane Fluttershy late into the season is very good.

I thought Season 3 was the “jumping the shark moment” for most ex-bronies?  
(And not just ‘cause of the “Twilicorn/finale” issue, I’ve seen them complain about S3’s other episodes too. It’s arguably the most controversial season of the show.)
 
I didn’t see much drama over Season 2, aside from the “Mare Do-Well” ep, Derpygate, and the season finale. (Though, the “Canterlot Wedding” season finale was overall better received then anticipated. Before the 2-parter came out, some fans oddly assumed it was just going to be a “boring wedding episode with no action, or anything happening” ironically.)

Not sure either, but I think it’s possibly implying the rest of the season was “bad.” (Seeing how this was the S2 premiere.)  
Ironically, most bronies would disagree with that. Even alot of the ones now soured with the show, believe S2 was a good season, at least.
 
Though, alot of fans didn’t like “Mare Do-well.”
