IIRC, Pixelkitties traced for just a few images in order to insert Chaurus eggs into them as a joke. And I’m pretty sure she never offered those images for sale.

If you’ve ever actually watched FiM and seen these comics, the only way you’d not know they were traced is because you’re blind. I thought everyone knew they were traced; I mean, ffs, most of them use particularly remarkable poses.
 
What I and most people, I guess, didn’t know is that he was selling traced stuff for money.
 
It’d be nice if all the people calling him out pointed that out with these sort of things, rather than the “are you fucking blind” obvious ones.
 
I personally would like an explanaton as to why there are two drastically different artist styles under the same name; as in this clearly traced stuff, but also the actual original art and anthro stuff. It makes no sense that someone that can actually draw as well well as they do would try and pass off clearly traced stuff as legit and sell it. People say “Drawponies” is a group and not a person, and this shit is fucking confusing.

It’s more of getting tired of how everything in the fandom explodes into a drama. I’m not saying that it’s okay for DrawPonies to trace (Look what happened with PixelKitties when it was revealed she traced some of her art), but sometimes this fanbase doesn’t care.
 
Now the money thing, that’s gonna hurt him hard.
 
But we’ll see what DrawPonies responds to this.

Or that just didn’t know he was making money off of the traced stuff so they where not bothered by it.  
I could tell there was tracing going on with his comics but didn’t care as I didn’t know he had the Patreon to pay for it or that he was also selling some traced work on other things.

Alright I didn’t knew he was selling his stuff since I’m not a follower. However, I’m still surprised they didn’t noticed until now… I mean, geez. It’s the show style with black lineart.

Horse-famous fandom artist gets caught in the act and proven beyond any shadow of a doubt to be a fraud, one who’s making quite a bit of money off it on Patreon and conventions, and they expect it not to blow up? Lol, how quaint.

I’m surprised that people notice now that drawponies traces over stuff for his comics.  
But selling them? Well, that was a shocker.  
But I wanna see what his reaction to the new internet flame fight is.

Tracing is fine; in some cases, it even helps people learn to art - or at least learn to use their vectoring program. Drawponies has built tracing show art into a little money-making enterprise for himself, which is less cool.
