Do you mean they look like a couple as in two ponies in close proximity to each other or in shipping terms because the image itself( a screencap that has them looking at each other which most people lacking shipping goggles would not find that a indication of any higher relation) and in context(their reaction to the CMC) goes against that.

tag because to me,that tag (along with its many naming variants) implies that two characters are doing something together at the center of an image, but not necessary in any sort of higher relationship.

I’m a little confused as to why it’s tagged Rarijack in the first place. What is the criteria for the tag? Is every image with both of them interacting tagged as such? If they are both in the image? If that’s the case, every scene with Twilight and Spike smiling together should be tagged Twispike.

Nobody’s intentionally tagging this “lesbian”. If you type in the “rarijack” tag, the system automatically adds the “lesbian” tag as well.

It’s kinda ridiculous to argue the presence of a ship and is especially ridiculous to stubbornly argue that there is not since no one knows what goes on in the heads of the numerous puppeteers of these characters.

I suppose it’s because some people think it doesn’t need one,it’s not exactly a sultry look up there and most people probaly wouldn’t see this as anything more than two characters looking at eachother. To have it tagged “ out of context” is almost like admitting the screencap is possibly dirty on its own which it isn’t.

That’s exactly my point. And for some reason people keep removing the out of context tag.

I know that shippers will morph any interaction between characters in screencaps to fit whatever OTP they want.But to do so for this image just requires one to completely ignore the context of the scene.Its like selecting words in a sentence to make up a statement that fits your view and completely ignoring the other words.
