Not really. She’s regarded highly by people from both sides and is pretty much the closest thing to a princess with that whole four diamond thing. That along with Rose can literally create life and bring by others back from near death. And has barrier powers like that of Twilight–with an assistant. If that don’t qualify her for alicornhood I don’t know what will.

in my opinion steven universe is kind of a good indication of what a TV-PG MLP FIM would have looked liked
