Yeah, he and I were friends when we were growing up. The idea of going as Weird Al was creative, though he didn’t quite pull off the exact look without a real mustache, but actually teaching himself the accordion… I think he got, like, twice as much candy as me.
Looking back at this, I don’t know why I made a KKK joke when I first saw it. Now I think that she’s simply dressing as a character from a Peanuts Halloween special. Seriously, in my neighborhood kids were always dressing like Superman or Batman some other copyrighted character.
Though the best one I’ve seen so far was the kid who dressed as Weird Al and actually taught himself accordion just for Halloween.
Sometimes a ghost costume is just a ghost costume.
Knowing how easily triggered people are these days, I’d wear white makeup/facepaint or a mask along with my costume to really drive home that I’m a ghost, and not just a racist.
