I could get used to Sunset playing the protective big sis role, it certainly makes for good comedy

to be fair, there’s not much flash-trixie shipping so the term hasn’t got much use (probably need to let the term sink in/get used to )

I myself happened to prefer “Sunflash” to “Flashimmer” and “Sunlight” to “Sunsetsparkle” (which sounds awkward as fuck IMO, especially compared to the elegant pun made up by the former), but what could I do? It wasn’t the chosen appelation so I had to deal with it.

I’d like to think so. I admit I never liked Flashlight, but I was always a bit soft for Sunny and Flash together. I wouldn’t mind if she took him back and they were a couple again.

i have this feeling sunset only went out with flash for popularity’s sake (or if my headcanon is correct about trixie being queen bee and she’s flash’s girlfriend, she stole flash to announce to everyone who is the new queen) but maybe now that she lost her ambitions maybe things will be different?

Not that I have a problem with it, just particularly curious…

Stick with the one who can never stay, or pursue the one who belongs in this world. Flash has been presented rather unique choices considering they’re the same girl but with different life experiences: same nature, different nurture as it were.
