On the other hand, you’d expect someone to take a gentle ribbing. I’ve worked for some enormous jerks, though, so I’d believe it.

the right thing is to now post that and just sue, you legally can not be fire for somthing so small and unrelated to work.
Assuming this is a true story. And if it is, I think the guy’s got a heck of a case for a wrongful termination lawsuit.
