Ban racist jokes, memes and Aryanne

The shooter’s manifesto has been made publicly available. Looking at the contents will help us better understand the derangement of who is quite possibly a psychopath whose politics probably can’t be boxed into one spot/small area on a political spectrum. It won’t create a psycho out of someone who isn’t already inclined to that kind of behavior, and perusing it is probably a better use of time than calling for tightening content bans with a similar paranoid line of thought to Jack Thompson’s crusade against violent video games. Richard “The Iceman” Kuklinski loved cartoons, but they shouldn’t be banned just because he had a blood trail lasting over 35 years with over 100 bodies. As others have suggested, filtering undesirable terms is a better move than enforcing an assimilation into a cultural purity of thought.
 
It’s not a good thing to label everyone a Nazi/white supremacist who uses certain memes because of one person’s exceptionally heinous actions, and that’s where this could lead. Here’s what tends to be forgotten, which can contribute to controversy occurring: context matters. As a rule, meme consumers are regular, or at least impotent, people, folks who would never advocate premeditated murder of innocents. How one treats others in their daily lives is a greater indicator of the kind of person they are than their meme diet. Memes’ relation to the shooting is tangential at best when the stated motive was allegedly to augment political divisions to the point of (civil) war, which would reduce the population; memes being simply one thing he intended for the public to scapegoat.

You make the factual claim that racist jokes, memes, and Aryanne can potentially encourage people into the mindset of the New Zealand shooter. I’m not sure it’s the case, yet you seem to assume it is. Where is your evidence. To what degree is this potentiality based on all the criteria exactly. Also, do you have a problem with being in mindsets? I do not see anything wrong with anybody wanting to be in any mindset they wish to be in, I will not violate their liberty to do so.

Crying free speech so you can make jokes with the N word completely disregards that language to incite violence is not protected speech. Racist words dehumanizes a race to make it easier commit violence on them

Dehumanization makes any mindset possible so that to the perpetrator he is not a vicious animal but a heroic MC just doing what is right. The NPC meme directly contributes to this mindset. The Swastikais a symbol for an ideology whose whole purpose was seizing power by the violent removal of jews (a forced exodus to make an ethnostate is inherently violent). The nazi symbol in the context of a happy pony looks like an endorsement of a violent ideology to children and others who cannot into irony and therefore should not be allowed. People forget that 12 year old probably use this site (with sfw filters off even) cause it’s for content for a girl’s show and are therefore more impressionable
 
The reason games dont cause violence is they dont “other” anyone the way good propaganda does

What you’re essentially saying is that there’s some probability that these images, memes, whatever could lead a child to adopting white supremacist mindsets. So is it simply because some probability exists it shouldn’t be allowed, or do you have some threshold percentage? Is a 0.0001% increased probability on average too much? 0.03%? 5%?, 20%? If there’s a line where is it and why?

Bottom line seems to be, the site will not ban any topic/theme unless it is entirely illegal (precedent: foalcon). Any content that one suspects of breaking rule #0 should be reported. Rule #0 covers all forms of hurtful/inciteful/hateful content and behaviour on the site for a reason.
