Rarity is laifu
I wish there was an alias, tag or something that allow me to search for maure mares. You can type ‘milf’ but it will show mostly explicit images. For now I figured I can use something like ‘pear butter OR twilight velve OR etc’ or custom filter.

@zykfryt_uchiha
generic ‘adult’ for characters who aren’t kids, teens, or senior /elderly would be great

Would it be possible to add the filesize to the alt text information that pops up when hovering over an image?

I miss the show so much
@TexasUberAlles
I suggested that once but unfortunately nothing happened :-( Maybe you have better luck.

Bumping this due to a recent situation with >>1855388.

The duplicate image diff tool (You know, the thing that displays “same artist, different sources, etc”. Does that have an official name?) displays whether the alleged dupe has an edit tag or not, but currently doesn’t take the alternate version tag into account. I think that should be included, either as a new entry or together with edits as “(no) edit or alternate version”.

Again.
When uploading images via fetching (for example, from Deviantart), make automated descriptions be quoted with a “Artist’s/original description:”

Just write a note/put it into a blockquote/make it itallic/do something else yourself.
Depending on the source website (*cough* Tumblr *cough*), half of the time automatically copied descriptions are malformatted or cut off, not to mention missing links, embedded pictures, etc. and have to be fixed manually anyway.

Blockquoting is what I’ve done for years and I also add a “Original comment” title at the top. I sometimes add my own comment after the box, like here. It’s simple and it clearly marks whose the description is.

I just blockquote it manually, since any description longer than a single line gets truncated with “…” and has to be cut/pasted anyway.

Can we get push notifications and email notifications? I find the whole “artist watch” kind of pointless because it doesn’t actually notify you when they post. Also, if it does get done, it should have an option to just “watch” or “send notif” just so you are not automatically flooded with tags
Also, when mobile app? I would love a mobile app ^u^

This is a box.
Why does every site need to have a mobile app these days ? What’s wrong with using browsers and mobile sites ?

Because you have a lot more control over the layout. And personally, I hate chrome putting a bunch of cookies on my phone.

You hate cookies and would rather code privilege?
Anyway, on the topic, push notifications through a browser would be good, that would work on desktop and mobile.

Any chance of adding the HTML version of image descriptions to the API?
Having to make something to parse derpi’s text markup seems the epitome of superfluousness.

Yeah, all that apps and /?m=1 mobile versions get you is tons of people bitching about how they’re worse than the regular site and getting told in the comments to just use a browser with an adblocker already, it seems a lot easier for a site to just not go through the effort in the first place.

There was an app in development, but I think it has been put to rest long ago.

Tag reporting - basically to quickly alert to any tag-related edits that only staff can do. Other boorus have a streamlined alias request system, I think it would be a lot more efficient than the forums, it can also be applied to implications, colorization and used to easily get rid of spam tags.

PM me your cute OCs
@Shoto
We used to have a more streamlined process for handing tag changes (particularly aliases), but that resulted in semi-regular angry mobs because people disagreed with a change.
So now we have the forum so that such changes can be commented on, and if someone doesn’t like a change, then it’s their fault for not paying attention to the forum and commenting when they had the chance.

You may use site’s preview to transform textile in description to html, as I did in YDB:Tools - sample code
It won’t handle embedded images as is completely because filters should be applied clientside.
