This is the thread for linking older artwork that can be updated using Tumblr’s _raw exploit in order to get the original resolution instead of Tumblr’s 1280px limit.
Please be sure to check the artist tag for any DNP settings that may apply.
Please make sure any images you link are not at a “paid only” resolution.
For those who don’t know: Tumblr stores the original uploaded resolution of artwork uploaded to it. But limits the size anyone can view it at to a maximum width of 1280. A while back, people discovered that if you replaced the “*1280” at the end of the image url with “_raw”, you would get the original image upload at full resolution.
Tumblr has updated their site so just adding _raw doesn’t work anymore. But there are still other ways of reaching these images. Here is a handy script to automatically redirect you to the _Raw url of Tumblr images.

Link the image here on Derpibooru so we know what to replace. >>###
Link the _Raw file for us to use.
Link the source if there still is one.
Many images have dead sources for some reason. Don’t worry, pics are still alive. There is a bunch ways to find hi-res pictures somewhere:
**. The best our friend is web.archive.org Try to simply paste source url (like “blog.tumblr.com/post/123456/description”), maybe you succeed!
**. You may change /post/ to /image/ and vice versa (“blog.tumblr.com/post/123456/”), sometimes it works
**. You may also scroll backupped version of main tumblr (“blog.tumblr.com/”), walk on pages, look at archive, mobile version and even tags (if exist of course)
*. If you found the post, but the image wasn’t backed up, don’t worry, delete beginning of url (“http://web.archive.org/web/123456im/http://12.media.tumblr.com/123456/tumblr_123456_500.png” -> “http://12.media.tumblr.com/123456/tumblr_123456_500.png”). There is also an automatic way to do it: You may try to install this userscript to Tampermonkey, which converts web.archive url to normal tumblr urls (needs Disable CSP (for security reasons keep extension off while not browsing web.archive)) and most of the images should appear. It still cannot fix lost framesets, through.
*. Well, you still cannot find original post? It’s time to search in reblogs! Sometimes source url has few words, build a query (
**. If not, you may try to look at backup notes of random post and find some “reblogging_everything_what_i_see” blogs and look there
**. In that case you may look through sitemap of reblogger’s blog
*. And you even may try google search by image (site:tumblr.com in query may help). Remember, you may found reuploaded 1280px image
