Userscripts and tags

I just wanna start off by saying: I have no idea how to make a userscript. But I still want to know if it’s possible for a userscript to modify what the user sees the name of a tag as.

Easily.  
just search document, (or specific areas of document so it only effects tags), and swap out tag name text for whatever you want.

To add new tag names to replace, just add a new line like 'busty minuette': 'curvegate', below the others. It has one limitation in that it won’t sort the tag field alphabetically after the change, since that would take some additional complexity and be less performant.

Well, for some reason, the “watch” tag displays as “function watch() { [native code] }”

I originally opted to use a method only available in very recent browsers (Firefox 50+), but given that the script is seeing more users now I’ve made a change allowing it to work in reasonably old browsers as well.

I created a list with most of the busty tags on them so you can have the old ones back. Ones that haven’t been converted yet might need adjusting when they are.  
I’m going to be seeing nothing but the word “busty” in my dreams. In a bad way.

Well, considering that it looks like we’re not seeing the old tags anytime soon, I decided to take the source code from This Cloud-to-Butt extension and make it so that pretty much any instance of “busty <character>” is replaced with their respective pun tag.
 
If I get a list, I’d be willing to do the same with all of the futa tags as well. And because we’re headed on that route, the fat puns and butt puns as well, soon enough.
 
This is currently only a Chrome extension, because I don’t know how to make extensions for other browsers. Anyone’s free to take what I’ve done and make it work for firefox/opera/safari or whatever it is you use.

Whoops. Remember to test thing to make sure they actually work before just releasing them.

I wish there was a way to replace these in hover-over windows as well.

Their current tags don’t seem to have any aliases. Maybe it’s a similar situation with squeezy flare where someone jumped the gun without checking if there were previous ones.

Would it be possible to make breast puns for new characters and just add them to the aliases for the breast tags?

The reason I ask about the aliases is so people can still type the puns while tagging and still have the correct tags.

Suddenly the the script’s not working. Is anyone else having this problem?

It’s still working fine for me. Did you try refreshing the page? I’ve noticed that the script runs while the page loads, and then stops. When doing metadata updates, the tags are broken and put back to their usual form.
