Why was I wrongly banned?

I got banned for “multiaccounting” and yet I fail to see what they mean.
I may be connecting through tor, but that doesn’t mean I’m using multiple accounts.

Would also remind that the account in question is where I’m posting from.

You weren’t banned. Instead, you probably just got assigned an IP address from your ISP that someone else got banned. This is especially common if you use VPNs or Proxy servers.

If it ever happens again, just stop by the #derpibooru-help IRC channel, or email joey@depribooru.org and it’ll get fixed for you.

If you’re using TOR, use the onion address, https://ronxgr5zb4dkwdpt.onion; otherwise you’re going to run into a lot of IP bans on exit nodes used by ban evaders and misc. neverdowells.

I use a vpn and frequently land on banned IP addresses. Some of the ban reasons are frigging priceless. I was confused as hell the first time though because the ban reason was massively long, super fucked up, and the length was 1000 years XD

Oh hey, I remember that! That was one of mine! Some guy posted several lines of “Wake Me Up” as tags on some MSPaint troll comic.
