i started with the first episode, but the very first pony thing i saw was the “insane pinkie pie” scene from party of one, specifically this vid

I started from the first episode, but I decided to start watching when I saw a pony vid. Either the Sovngarde Song video or the StarCraft II trailer mashup.

Episode 1. Cuz that’s how I roll.

When I was a kid I’d always end up finding out about a show on TV mid season 2 or something. I wasn’t a fan of that. These days I have more options.
 
So I start on episode one.

Party of One.
 
The I watched them in order.

The pilot. Though at that time, the most recent episode was The Best Night Ever.

S01E01: Friendship is Magic because it looked like the natural place to start from.

I watched every episode starting with the pilot, then I watched the next new episode, which I think was Sisterhooves Social. It’s all kind of a blur.

clip of episode 2 season 1, particularly the manticore scene and the one where twilight falls off the cliff in that episode. Was like “holy shit new cartoon that’s actually GOOD” and got hooked :P

The first episode I watched was, naturally, the pilot. But at the point I came in, the latest episode out was “Green Isn’t Your Color”. I got caught up shortly after “A Bird in the Hoof” aired.
 
My first actual exposure to Pony was through Youtube Poop, specifically Krobo’s Friendship Is Magnets. I’d been subscribed to him for awhile, and saw that - even though he was lampooning MLP for all it was worth - the cartoon looked really good, so I decided to check it out for myself.
 
And here I am, three years later.

I never watch things out of order.

I didn’t like Dragonshy.  
But then I saw the Pilot.  
Decided to give the series another chance.
