The first episode I watched was Castle Mane-ia. I watched the first few minutes of Twilight’s Kingdom, but thought it was too early to enjoy the fight scene. After Castle Mane-ia, I started with the very first episode, then decide to never watch the episodes out of order.

I don’t know what it was but it had Applejack and Granny Smith.

I started from the beginning, but I think It’s About Time was the first I watched right when it came out.

Recently I’ve came to the realisation that I can say with 99% certainty that it was Family Appreciation Day. For ages I thought that it was an episode where Applejack was fretting about something that Granny Smith was going to but then I realised that doesn’t exist so it must be Apple Bloom in FAD.

First saw Friendship is Magic part 1 and 2. Not when it aired but downloaded a torrent of it a week after it aired. I am a G1 Transformers fan and by extension a G1 MLP fan too. When I heard about the remake, I had to check it out.

First saw roughly the last five minutes of Dragonshy. Wasn’t that impressed.
 
First full episode I watched was a back-to-back showing of Stare Master and Show Stoppers.  
Didn’t have a stron second impression either especially with the heavy focus on the CMC, but I liked Fluttershy enough from it that I decided to still give it a shot.
 
Next episode was Bridle Gossip which had Zecora and Flutterguy.  
That one did get me interested.

The first episode I saw was Applebuck Season back in late 2012, during my sophomore year in high school. I was sick on a school day and decided to watch some MLP out of pure curiosity. You know, after I found out about the brony fandom.

Mare in the Moon actually. Though the first episode I watched live was Dragonshy, which is still one of my favourites.

I never followed S1 and S2 before

My very first experience with any sort of pony was a short clip from “Over a Barrel”. The part where Pinkie and Rainbow Dash are trying not to get caught by the buffalo.
 
Now, the first full episode I watched was “Read It and Weep”. After seeing that episode, I watched a bunch of separate clips from different episodes of the series, as well as listen to some popular fan made music. Once I had the time, I watched all the seasons that were currently out at the time. Seasons 1 and 2.

Actually the Pilot, Mare of the Moon

Wouldn’t it be something if someone’s first episode was the very last episode?

Sleepless in Ponyville. Was flipping through channels and caught the last half of the episode. The cutesy designs and vibrant art style caught my eye. I also liked how sweet and wholesome the episode was. I then saw Wonderbolt Academy and was hooked.
 
I know season 3 is kinda hated, but I’ll always love it because it brought me into the show and fandom.

I think it was Luna Eclipsed.
