IDW Comics - Story Discussion (Spoilers)

Let’s just hope he’s gone for good so we could put this arc on the same place where we tossed the Reflections, Bulls, Deer, Seige, Living Apples, and the long etcetera dissapointing arcs.
 
I would also hope that IDW finally learned from previous mistakes but who am I trying to fool, they will never learn, period.

The problem is Curnow’s doing this intentionally because he hates MLP and wants to be editor for TMNT. At this point I’m surprised he hasn’t simply resigned, meaning either he’s contractually unable to, or he’s actively trying to outright destroy MLP…

In each series, probably the ones featuring Babs… At the very least that’s probably the point they terraformed the success hill they were on before, so to speak…

So did anyone think that FF issue 38 felt a bit too word heavy in the beginning and end or is it me?

Not just the beginning, the whole was… pretty intense on the speech bubbles. It was pretty jarring.

How long is this arc again?

This month’s the last part.
 
One comic to reveal that Shadow the Pony is actually a mastermind that was in the right all along and save the day before riding into the sunset as the arc’s real main character, with the mane 6 reduced to having been antagonists.
 
I kid…. I hope. Best case is that he sacrifices himself for no reason since whatever he’s trying to stop is gonna happen anyways.

Well, the book was relased toay and Discord isn’t seen or even mentioned at all. And the book itself is like a lazy Power Point presentation that uses 7 year old clipart, screencaps and vectors, all put together by a 9 year old kid, so if any of you had been planning to purchase it, don’t even bother.

A kind anon just storytimed it on /mlp/ and even knowing it’s a book targeted to preschoolers, it was a huge letdown.
 
You will wonder who approved it, and who will feel genuinely satisfied after paying money for it.

Whoa… It’s like the writers, illustrators and editors have never seen or even been kids before. Was this written by an Australian company? Because that’s what a lot of kids shows and books here are like…

So, wait, if the Families book didn’t even mention or show Discord at all, then why did the early summaries mention it?
 
(Also, I get the feeling that the part about Rainbow Dash is gonna be contradicted by Parental Glideance.)

I’d like to think that considering it released during Season 7, Hasbro would’ve at least told them this much. So I’m willing to bet, personally, that her page is actually giving us advance info on Parental Glideance.
