Josh Haber is back in Season 8

You know, the guy who turned Season 6 into the shitty abomination we know it as, and we were happy about him being replaced with the lady writers for Season 7.
 
Still on the Season 8 hype train?

The Lady Writers could be the co-writers.

Is liking season 6 becoming an unpopular opinion? It’s not my favourite season, but I don’t think it’s a bad season.

To be fair, he let very good episodes for Fluttershy happen.
 
And since many are so selfish in caring for their favorites mostly, I’ll do the same now.  
I’m okay with it.

That he’s not doing it alone can only be a positive.

The general consensus is that every single thing about Season 6 was terrible, from Starlight to the entirety of To Where and Back Again.
 
And yet people were excited for Season 7 anyway, which suffered a lot of the same problems as S6, and the only thing preventing it from being as bad were the rare gems like The Perfect Pear.
 
With Haber back, you won’t be seeing any heartwarming and risky episodes like that in S8.

And in Disqus, you don’t see how many downvotes a comment got, so for all you know those comments could also have way more downvotes than upvotes.
 
Then again, you think that if one of your shitpost images has 37 upvotes, that means everyone agrees, even when that image has 95 downvotes and thus an overall negative score.

Season 6 was fine. Aside from that weird ending, I liked To Where and Back Again. Honestly, I don’t really see Josh as being that bad of a writer.
 
The one time I really think he screwed the pooch is Friendship Games. That movie can rot in Tartarus. But aside from that, I don’t see most of his work as problematic. I have no reservations with him working on season 8.
