MLP Removed From Netflix

MLP is being removed from Netflix on August 16th. What are your thoughts?

Are you sure?

I just checked. I didn’t see a notification. Does the notification not show on certain TVs, or does it only show up on other devices, or how did you find out?

Netflix has a list of titles that are being removed in August, and MLP isn’t among them as of now.

Yeah, I didn’t see it either when I checked.

Yeah, it would have definitely stated on the show page if the show was being removed by a certain date.

I feel like I see this every year.

Look on the right side where it says “Availability”.

I could be mistaken about this, but I’ve heard that sometimes that means that they aren’t sure if they’ll get it renewed, so they put it up there, but it ends up renewed anyways.

Yeah, I remember a few years ago when it had a removal date listed, but it got renewed at basically the last minute.

Yeah, and it even got bumped twice before it got fully renewed.

Well, Nothing’s On Netflix Forever

I’m sure Hasbro and netflix are renewing the contract as quickly as they can.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this time it’s for real. Netflix has dumped so many shows in the last few years that it’s become a total joke by this point.

Is there a way to reach out to Hasbro about it? Bring it to their attention if they aren’t already aware?

What also upsets me is that Transformers Prime is being removed as well… I still haven’t even finished that show…

Netflix and Hasbro are being unusually quiet about it. Maybe they are working on renewing MLP right now.

For some reason EQG isn’t leaving unless they plan to do that later.

Dang. And this is like the show’s real American home too, to the point where I actively wanted them to become the official source. Because let’s be real, absolutely no one cares about Discovery Family, and I just want it outta there already so it can finally be put out of its misery.

Who knows? The last time this happened, Netflix eventually changed their minds.
