as a Blueblood fan let me explain
 
I don’t ship him that much I think it’s because
 
1.he is good looking, with a unique but simple look  
2. his character makes for interesting dynamics with a lot of characters rather more generic male characters  
3. people love redeeming characters , the idea of a Mare bettering him is interesting to some
 
in a specific case, his most popular Ship with Trixie is because they both have similar personalities, good Designs that blend in an authentic way, with interesting dynamics of someone as much as an Egomaniac as Trixie dating a Prince after her fall from grace(at least when the ship was starting to form) and a guy who views himself as Above commoners falling in love with a “lowly” carny , with both somewhat making each other more humble while keeping their egos.

people either make him a Shining Armour copy like Angrypony said or a monster who is hated by everyone
 
the Comic of Him and Shining did a good job of making him more of a balanced character

Speaking of Chrysalis, I still wonder why she looks the way she does. I wonder if all queens look like that.

 
My anthro rampage continues! This time with Rarity spending some quality time with her and Braeburn’s other child Ponderosa Peridot Pine. I used a show reference for the background. I’m kind of proud that I actually drew it myself instead of just sliding one in behind the characters.
 
Ponderosa might look frustrated but its just that he’s new to sewing and sometimes sticks himself. But he has a natural talent for it and enjoys it.

I guess I’d ship Shining with Big Mac. I don’t know, the idea of the two big brother ponies getting together sounds rather cute. I can picture the two of them when they were young teens going out and having filly Twilight and Applejack tag along with them.
 
As for Cadance, I guess I’d ship her with Big Mac too for similar reasons. She may not be Twilight’s biological sister but she does act like a big sister to her. She’s very sisterly. Also given her attitude, she comes off as fairly chill. So does Big Mac. So they’d probably get along well with each other.
 
I guess I’d ship either of them with Flash too. They’re both bound to bump into him while on their jobs so maybe they’d make some small talk and things blossomed from there.

I’d like to think they do. The fact that Thorax got larger when he became the leader of the Changelings kind of leans towards this idea.

I know this is cringey but tbh I could go for crossover shipping the CMC with any combination of Webby and the Triplets ( Huey,Dewey, Louie) from the 2017 ducktales reboot DELETE THIS

I didn’t realize how little G1 shipping there is on this site until I went looking for some. I mean, I fully expected that there wouldn’t be anywhere near even a quarter as much as there is for G4, but there’s barely anything.

In terms of appearance, main things that set Chrysalis apart from Thorax and Pharynx, as well as the rest of the changelings, are her eyes and mane. She has vertebrate eyes with well-developed scleras, irises and pupils (with the added peculiarity of double irises), as well as a mane and tail seemingly made up of actual hair. This is in contrast with both the regular changelings and with Thorax and Pharynx, who instead have mono-colored, seemingly compound eyes and webs or fins instead of manes and tails, when they have anything in that department at all. When she was the only royal changeling, it was something that could be assumed to be a peculiarity of changeling royals, but now that Thorax and Pharynx don’t seem to share those traits, it raises questions…
 
Of course, the idea of changeling royals being bigger and having larger and more complex horns/antlers than the normal ones remains constant.

Shipping for G1 is very much based more on childhood games and toys, and ‘canon’ genders and prsonalities don’t always stay the same in those regards.
 
Still, there a fleeting romance in one episode of MLP & Friends with one of the Big Brother ponies and Buttons, forget which boy tho. :P And I’m too lazy to look it up.

Her name is Bird Song and she’s a punk who enjoys partying and can be a bit of a troublemaker but is good at heart and cares about other ponies,but isn’t all sugary like her parents-  
obviously she needs more character development but that’s the basics

Those are some really cute pictures. And I have to agree with you. It’s a huge shame that G1 doesn’t have that much shipping art (but it really doesn’t seem to get much art period unfortunately).
 
As for the Changelings, yep. You’re correct. Chrysalis is the only canon one without insectoid eyes and with actual hair. (Didn’t really stop the fandom from doing that with their non-Queen Changeling OCs. Not that I can blame them. They do allow for variety in designs, look really neat, and the eyes are very expressive.)

She sounds cute. I was going to suggest Songbird over Bird Song since I think it sounds better but considering Songbird Serenade exists, Bird Song might be the better choice here. (Speaking of OC names and Changelings, I had a Changeling OC named Thorax. I changed her name when the canon Thorax appeared.)

I even added hair to a Siren. P: I prefer Changelings hairless tho, and I prefer variety in carapace color and head and tail fin shape and length versus adding hair.
