(Sort of nonspecific Episode 20 spoilers. Eh, read at your own risk, since it would likely give you a good idea of what I’m talking about)
While they are definitely still friends, I’m not the only one who thinks StarTrix could be a little bit problematic, right? When those two fight, it can get ugly.
I find StarBurst or TwiStar to be more preferable ships, personally. While she’s a significantly better person than a lot of people with those qualities (I consider her decent either way), Trixie is kind of narcissistic, which it should go without saying can be an issue.

That’s not much of a spoiler if you watched Road to Friendship. That one got really ugly. But yes, you’re correct. Not that the possibility of them murdering each other over a disagreement would ever stop StarTrix shippers, though.

It kind of is a spoiler if someone wanted to go into an episode with no idea of who appeared or not, isn’t it?
Anywho, when Trixie would even consider (and actually believe) the thought of Starlight doing all of that going through a candidate elimination process for her alone, and setting others up to fail for that, that’s a sign that there’s probably a fundamental disconnect between their mindsets that probably wouldn’t translate well to romance, I think.
At least it is very much possible to make Trixie feel remorse, otherwise she’d be no better than she was in Magic Duel (where she put more than zero blame on Twilight for ruining her), and could probably go downhill to the point of being like *Lightning Dust.*
As for another ship, AppleDash likely wouldn’t be healthy either, on account of them being too competitive, since believe it or not, stability likely does help in a relationship, and trying to one-up each other constantly tends not to help.

I dunno. As a StarTrix shipper, that’s always been part of it- Starlight would love her despite her worst tendencies. They do care for each other in at least a platonic way, and if Starlight can put up with her shit as a friend, then the ship still works.
The other part of it is that Trixie tends to moderate her behavior around Starlight in a way she doesn’t around others, which would make her bearable to be around.

My problem with Trixie recently is….well it really just stems from my overall dislike of Starlight. I felt like in order to make Starlight look good in comparison they exaggerated Trixie’s negative traits.
Though that one episode where Starlight sold Trixie’s cart for no reason was….really…really stupid. Like dang Starlight.

No, I honest to god like it actually, but I don’t actually actively ship that
